Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to join the Mobile team covering the Northeast area of the UK. The role involves service and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, VRV/VRF units, heat recovery, and associated controls.

You will log job data via CAFM on a tablet and work closely with the team to ensure compliance. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of relevant experience, an approved A/C Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 2 and a valid F-Gas

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Approved A/C Apprenticeship with minimum full A/C NVQ Level 2 qualifications AND F-Gas.

Responsibilities

• Design, installation, aftercare service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, cold rooms and related equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of air conditioning and associated mechanical/plumbing works on site.
• Assist with Air Source Heat Pumps; additional training available.

We are looking for an experience Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to join our Mobile team covering the Northeast area.

• Design & installation, after care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems carrying out the service and maintenance of a multitude of equipment ranging from commercial equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF Indoor and Outdoor Units, Heat Recovery Units, leak testing systems etc.
• Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including being able to assist with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site.
• Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable and additional training on this can be provided.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)
• Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.
• Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuing written compliance paperwork.
• Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork.
• The Air Conditioning engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.
