We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing specialist contractor delivering commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
This is a95% installation role, working mainly on splits, multi-splits and VRV/VRF systems. It involves regular nationwide travel and working away, so it will not suit someone looking for a local service and maintenance route.
Longer 10–11-hour days are normally available when working away, allowing engineers to increase their overtime earnings.
An NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration would be beneficial but is not essential. Proven ability and installation experience are more important.
The workload is approximately:
You will work on equipment from leading manufacturers including Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Daikin and Midea.
Projects are surveyed and organised before you arrive on site. You will then be trusted to manage the day-to-day installation and deliver the work to a high technical and visual standard.
The salary offered will reflect the level at which you can operate.
Engineers who require some support will sit toward the lower end of the range. The upper end is available for someone who can independently run larger installations, organise materials, commission systems and complete projects without regular supervision.
There is genuine progression available as the business grows, including the opportunity to move into a Project Supervisor position with less time spent on the tools.
