Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover the South Coast between Southampton and Portsmouth. You will handle installation, servicing and maintenance on domestic and commercial systems.

The ideal candidate has an F‑Gas certificate, experience with split and VRF/VRV systems, strong fault-finding skills and good customer communication. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Air Conditioning Engineer - South Coast

Location: Southampton / Portsmouth / South Coast
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team, covering mainly the South Coast between Southampton and Portsmouth, with occasional travel further afield.

The role will involve a mixture of installation, servicing, planned maintenance, fault finding and repairs across domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer


• F-Gas certification


• Experience with split, multi-split and/or VRF/VRV systems


• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills


• Good customer-facing and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Full UK driving licence


• High standards of workmanship and reliability
