Job summary

1four1 Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing engineering team. The role involves travelling to customer sites across the Southeast to carry out maintenance, servicing, fault finding and installation work on commercial air conditioning systems.

The position offers a long-term Temp-to-Perm opportunity with overtime, Monday to Friday hours, and the chance to work independently on varied sites within a well-established business.

Qualifications

• CITB qualification or equivalent recognised qualification
• REFCOM F-Gas certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience as an Air Conditioning/AC/HVAC engineer
• Experience servicing and repairing commercial systems
• Experience with split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial air conditioning systems
• Completing reactive maintenance and emergency repair work
• Diagnosing faults and identifying suitable repair solutions
• Installation, servicing and maintenance of split and multi-split systems
• Working on VRV and VRF air conditioning systems
• Carrying out refrigerant checks and associated F-Gas work
• Testing systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Liaising with customers and site contacts for updates and advice
• Managing daily workload and travel schedule effectively
• Maintaining high workmanship and customer service standards

Our client is continuing to expand across the South East and is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer who is confident working independently across commercial sites and is looking for a long-term position with a well-established and professional business.

The role will involve travelling to customer sites throughout the Southeast to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs and installation work on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems.

For the right applicant, this position offers an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, with overtime also available.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial air conditioning systems
• Completing reactive maintenance and emergency repair work
• Diagnosing faults and identifying suitable repair solutions
• Installation, servicing and maintenance of split and multi-split systems
• Working on VRV and VRF air conditioning systems
• Carrying out refrigerant checks and associated F-Gas work
• Testing systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
• Identifying defective components and completing repairs or replacements
• Working with equipment from a variety of manufacturers
• Completing service reports, job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately
• Carrying out site-specific risk assessments before commencing work
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements
• Following manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations
• Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts
• Providing advice and recommendations regarding repairs, maintenance and system improvements
• Managing your daily workload and travel schedule effectively
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times

Applicants must have:

• CITB Air Conditioning Qualification or equivalent recognised qualification
• REFCOM F-Gas Certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Engineer or HVAC Engineer
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial air conditioning systems
• Experience working with split systems
• Experience working with multi-split systems
• Experience working with VRV and VRF systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of air conditioning controls and components
• Ability to work independently on customer sites
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Own tools

Experience

• Experience working with a range of manufacturers, including systems such as: Daikin / Mitsubishi Electric / Mitsubishi Heavy Industries / Toshiba / Panasonic / Fujitsu
• Additional experience within HVAC, refrigeration, heat pumps or commercial building services would also be advantageous.
