Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer in Lincoln to install, service and commission a range of air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic sites.

The role focuses on ownership of jobs, strong fault-finding skills and delivering high-quality customer service while maintaining documentation and compliance with F-Gas and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
• Experience across both air conditioning installation and service work.
• Strong refrigeration, electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Experience with splits, multi-splits and VRF/VRV systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs.
• Professional customer-facing manner.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing split, multi-split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
• Completing refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage, containment and equipment installation.
• Carrying out pressure testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging and commissioning.
• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Diagnosing electrical, refrigerant and mechanical faults.
• Completing repairs and providing recommendations for further remedial work.
• Working on commercial and domestic premises.
• Completing service sheets, commissioning records and F-Gas documentation.
• Communicating clearly with customers, site teams and the office.
• Supporting apprentices and less-experienced engineers where required.

Salary: £38,000–£42,000 DOE + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday | 39 Hours per Week

Air Conditioning Engineer

We’re recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing air conditioning and ventilation specialist based near Lincoln.

This is a varied position combining installation, servicing, planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs and commissioning across commercial and domestic sites. It would suit an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of their work rather than being limited to either installation or service alone.

The Role
