Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install commercial AC systems across customer sites in the North London and Kent areas. You will handle PPMs, reactive calls, and work on VRV/VRF, split systems, chillers and AHUs, while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or time served.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.

About the Role

Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault-finding and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. Includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs in the Kent area.

You'll work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For
