Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain and install commercial systems across West Yorkshire. You will work across retail, care homes, hospitality, and other commercial sites in Leeds and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include fault finding, reactive maintenance and PPM, with a 1-in-4 call-out rota. A UK driving licence and DBS check are required. The role offers progression opportunities and a competitive salary with overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and installing commercial AC systems.
• F-Gas Cat 1 certification and driving licence.
• VRV/VRF, split systems, chillers or AHUs experience.
• DBS check clearance desirable.

Air Conditioning Engineer

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team in the West Yorkshire area. If you take pride in delivering high-quality service and enjoy working across a variety of commercial environments, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault-finding and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. Includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs in the Leeds area.

You’ll work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.

What We're Looking For

• F-Gas (2079) Category 1
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or time served)
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers and AHUs
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to pass a DBS check
