Qualifications

• Proven experience installing commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas qualification is essential.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work from plans.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split and VRF/VRV.
• Carry out refrigerant pipework installation, insulation and condensate drainage.
• Install indoor and outdoor units in line with specifications.
• Perform pressure testing, evacuation and refrigerant charging per procedures.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and regulations.
• Complete installation records and documentation accurately.
• Liaise with clients, site managers and other trades.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good order.

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing team based near Horsham, West Sussex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with commercial air conditioning installation experience to join a professional business offering a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning air conditioning systems across commercial sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
• Carry out refrigerant pipework installation, insulation and condensate drainage.
• Install indoor and outdoor units in line with technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete pressure testing, evacuation and refrigerant charging in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, installation plans and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and relevant industry regulations.
• Complete installation records and job documentation accurately.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and other trades.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good working order.

About You

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
• Experience installing split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
• Relevant F-Gas qualification.
• Good understanding of refrigeration pipework, pressure testing and commissioning.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
