Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for Yorkshire, covering Doncaster and surrounding areas. The role focuses on maintaining, inspecting and repairing diverse HVAC systems, with a mobile site responsibility and standard 40-hour weeks.

Candidates should have strong HVAC expertise, F-Gas Cat 1 certification and a full UK driving licence. The package includes a salary in the £40k–£46k range, a company van, fuel card and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.

This is a mobile role, covering Yorkshire & surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be based in Doncaster, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Pontefract, Castleford or Knottingley.

• Competitive salary between £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)
