Job summary

Infinitive Resources in Tilbury is seeking an AC Engineer to join a facilities maintenance team at London Distribution Park. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical assets, with a salary up to £48,000 per annum and a Monday-to-Friday pattern.

The successful candidate will have City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in HVAC or related field, valid F-Gas, G3 Unvented Hot Water and Water Regulations qualifications, and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
• Valid F-Gas certification.
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification and Water Regulations qualification.
• PASMA and IPAF certifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on AC and mechanical assets across site.
• Attend and rectify mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Complete mechanical remedial works as required.
• Carry out PPM tasks in accordance with company schedules and contractual requirements.
• Ensure all planned maintenance is completed to a high professional standard.
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair or replacement requirements.
• Produce technical and situational reports where required.
• Accurately update maintenance systems and digital records following completed works.
• Use company-provided technology and CAFM systems to maintain compliance with contractual obligations.
• Escalate significant faults, incidents or site issues to the relevant Line Manager promptly.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained safely and appropriately.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30

Contract: Temp to Perm

Required Skills & Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
• Valid F-Gas certification.
• Hot Water Systems and Safety / G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification.
• Water Regulations qualification.
• Good knowledge of L8 / Legionella awareness and compliance.
• PASMA certification.
• IPAF certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to obtain or hold a clear DBS.

• Commercial HVAC maintenance.
