Job summary

LEETON BUILDING SERVICES LIMITED is seeking an experienced AC & Refrigeration Engineer for our Peterborough team. The role covers maintenance, installation and project work on industrial HVAC/AC systems such as VRV/VRF, AHUs and cold rooms.

You will carry out installation, maintenance and fault-finding to a high standard, complete commissioning paperwork, and build strong client relationships on site. A Level 2 AC qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial HVAC/AC/refrigeration background.
• Level 2 AC qualification required.
• F-Gas/City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Comfortable working independently and building client relationships on site.
• Experience with commissioning paperwork.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding across a mix of maintenance, installation, and project work.
• Work on industrial HVAC/AC and refrigeration systems, including VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, and cold rooms.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while on site.
• Complete commissioning paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work safely and to a high standard, following company procedures at all times.
• Report any issues or additional works identified on site to the Project Manager.
• Primarily site-based, with occasional office-based administrative tasks.
• Support the Project Manager and wider engineering team in the delivery of maintenance, call out and projects.

Job Advert

We are looking for an experienced AC & Refrigeration Engineer to join Leeton's growing team in Peterborough, part of the 24-7 Group, working alongside the Project Manager and wider engineering team. This is a predominantly site-based role covering a mix of maintenance, installation, and project work.

The role has an industrial HVAC/AC focus, covering VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, and cold rooms. You will carry out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding to a high standard, complete accurate commissioning paperwork, and build strong working relationships with clients on site.

Skills & Experience Required

• Level 2 AC minimum
• Recognised AC/refrigeration qualification (e.g. F-Gas, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
• Comfortable working independently and building client relationships on site
• Experience with commissioning paperwork
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Full UK driving licence

What's on Offer

• Salary £22.60 per hour or £47,008.00 per year, plus overtime
• Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, and no on-call requirement
