Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to service and repair a range of HVAC systems across Leicester and surrounding areas. The role involves on-site visits, routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will hold a Full UK driving licence, F-Gas Cat 1 certification, and demonstrable experience with split, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer in facilities management.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot air conditioning systems (split, VRV/VRF, chillers).
• Perform routine maintenance (coils, filters, parts replacement).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Inspect HVAC systems and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors for complex repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and industry regulations.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.

This is a mobile role, covering Leicester and the surrounding areas.

• Competitive salary up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
