Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for Leicester and the surrounding area. The role focuses on maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of air conditioning systems to ensure peak performance and client satisfaction.

The candidate will have experience with pressure leak tests, compressor changes and brazing, and must hold an F-Gas Cat 1 certification with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Leicester - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Blue Chip & Data Centre

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.

This is a mobile role, covering Leicester and the surrounding areas.

Package

• - Competitive salary up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• - Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
• - Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
• - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
