Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its field-based team in Herefordshire (Hereford area). The role covers planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across the region, with a focus on VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and diverse control solutions.

Salary ranges from £50,000 to £52,000, plus a company van. The position requires strong diagnostic skills, relevant qualifications (F-Gas, C&G 2079/NVQ2), and the ability to work independently on customer sites.

Qualifications

• C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• F-Gas qualification required.
• Strong experience in HVAC service and maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work independently across customer sites.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC organisation, providing planned and reactive engineering support to customers across the region.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding
• Commissioning and servicing HVAC and air conditioning equipment
• Working on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems
• Attending reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns
• Completing risk assessments and maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Identifying additional service opportunities while on customer sites

About You
