Job summary

Acorn Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Operations team. You will maintain, service, diagnose faults and repair a range of commercial HVAC systems across London and the South East, working independently and delivering excellent service to clients.

You will hold a valid F-Gas Category 1 certification and a full UK driving licence, and you will collaborate with Contracts Managers and support teams to ensure high standards of health, safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the HVAC / Air Conditioning industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and controls.
• Ability to fault find, service and repair HVAC equipment.
• F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Health & Safety training.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs across a variety of HVAC equipment.
• Attend reactive maintenance call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
• Complete accurate service reports and job documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise effectively with internal helpdesk and administration teams.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and site presentation at all times.

Due to continued growth across our client portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with strong commercial HVAC experience who enjoys working independently while delivering exceptional service to clients across London and the South East.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems across a diverse portfolio of contracts. Working closely with Contracts Managers, clients and our support teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
