Interaction Recruitment is hiring a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer in Northamptonshire. You will service, maintain and repair a range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems at customer sites, with a focus on fault-finding and reactive breakdown support.

The role offers a salary of £37,000–£40,000 with overtime (OTE £43,000–£50,000+), a company van, fuel card and door-to-door travel, plus 30 days holiday and a pension. Full-time, permanent position with training and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Multi-Splits, Chillers and Cold Rooms.
• Leak detection, repairs and system testing.
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Delivering excellent customer service on-site.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites.

Your duties will include:
