Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established national facilities management company, covering Glasgow and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across offices, retail, healthcare and education sites, with ongoing training and opportunities to progress.

You’ll work on servicing, fault-finding and minor installations, using digital systems to keep records and reports up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining air conditioning systems in commercial environments.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration advantageous; refrigeration experience, IPAF, PASMA or 18th Edition.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial AC and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs and associated plant.
• Complete minor installations, replacements and remedial works.
• Maintain accurate F-Gas records, service reports and compliance paperwork.
• Manage workload and keep customers updated on progress.
• Follow health and safety procedures and participate in the on-call rota.

Salary: £42,000 + Overtime + Benefits

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

HVAC Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established national facilities management company, covering commercial sites across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

You’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across offices, retail, healthcare and education sites, with support from an experienced engineering team, ongoing training and opportunities to progress.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial AC and HVAC systems.
