Job summary

Teneo is hiring a Head of AI and Technology to lead the AI strategy across Management Consulting, align with central AI and IT, and drive adoption of AI solutions across client engagements and internal operations.

You will oversee the AI Engineering team, set engineering standards, manage budgets, and build capabilities to translate business needs into practical AI-enabled outcomes while maintaining governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience setting and delivering an AI and technology strategy in a professional services, consulting or knowledge-intensive environment.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and taking AI or software products from discovery into secure, supported production use.
• High practical AI fluency with regular use of generative AI tools and ability to create simple prototypes, automations or workflows.
• Evidence of converting ambiguous business needs into prioritised initiatives, investment cases and delivery plans.
• Experience of technology and data governance, including responsible AI, information security, privacy, vendor risk and approval processes.
• Commercial judgement in build-versus-buy decisions, vendor selection, budgets, licences and subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI strategy, roadmap and priorities for Management Consulting and align with the firm-wide AI direction.
• Lead the AI Engineering team’s day-to-day work, prioritisation, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Oversee AI solutions from discovery to production, adoption, support and retirement.
• Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into a focused AI and technology agenda and investment decisions.
• Represent Management Consulting in forums and coordinate with central technology and security functions.
