Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a dynamic AI Business Consultant to join our AI Practice. You will bridge business needs and technical capabilities, lead advisory engagements, define AI strategies, and support ethical, compliant AI solutions that deliver real value for clients.

In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate with data scientists, product owners and stakeholders, document user stories, run readiness assessments, ROI models, and ensure alignment with governance and public sector standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a consulting or advisory role within a customer-facing environment.
• Understanding of AI concepts including machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Advisory experience in AI such as readiness assessments, use case prioritisation, ROI modelling, ethical AI, and compliance.
• Experience in product ownership or business analysis within agile delivery teams including business process analysis and the ability to articulate clear, concise user stories.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for AI adoption and innovation.
• Lead AI readiness assessments, use case discovery, and prioritisation workshops with clients.
• Develop business cases and ROI models to support AI investment decisions.
• Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and cross-functional alignment.
• Support user research, prototyping, and testing to validate AI solutions in real-world contexts.
• Support compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and public sector service standards.
• Contribute to the development of AI strategy, governance frameworks, and operating models.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through AI transformation journeys.
