Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to fuel the sales pipeline for our AI inference and model-serving platform. You’ll qualify inbound leads and proactively prospect into high-value target accounts, partnering with Account Executives.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in tech sales, a passion for AI, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in a BDR/SDR role or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated interest in technology sales with AI focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategically prospect into key accounts via email, calls and LinkedIn.
• Meet new business opportunities and pipeline targets.
• Craft personalized outreach using research to prioritize accounts.
• Qualify inbound leads and smooth transition to Account Executives.
• Educate prospects on the value of AI inference solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to refine messaging based on feedback.
• Stay current on AI/ML trends for informed conversations.
