Job summary

Dotmatics, a Siemens company, seeks a technically credible Head of AI Governance to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its AI governance program. You will work across HR, Information Security, Product, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Quality to embed governance throughout the organisation.

Reporting to the VP of Information Security, you will lead the AI Governance Council, coordinate with Siemens, manage risk assessments of AI tools, and ensure compliance with EU AI Act, ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15-20 years in information security, technology risk management, data governance, or compliance in a regulated industry
• 5-8 years of progressive experience specifically in AI/ML governance
• Experience in Life Sciences (GxP) sector and knowledge of scientific informatics or cheminformatics is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and ongoing improvement of a comprehensive AI Governance Framework
• Maintain an AI use case registry and establish risk tiers for AI systems
• Partner with leadership to assess AI use cases across model behavior, data usage, privacy, and risk
• Coordinate agendas and materials for the AI Governance Council
• Serve as liaison to Siemens AI Governance Consortium
• Embed governance checkpoints into the SDLC with Product and Engineering
• Develop policies, SOPs, and training for AI governance
• Produce management reporting on program status, risk, and controls
• Drive continuous improvement by evolving standards and regulatory developments
