Job summary

Diagonal recruitment is seeking a role focused on AI governance, risk and compliance to help organisations implement responsible AI while enabling innovation. You will develop governance frameworks, define controls, and coordinate with legal, compliance, security and technology teams to ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment.

The role emphasises structured, detail-oriented work, pragmatic governance deployment and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.

Qualifications

• EU AI Act and emerging AI regulatory frameworks
• Developing governance, risk or compliance frameworks
• Assessing the AI stack for operational risk
• Experience working with legal, compliance, security or audit teams

Responsibilities

• Develop AI governance frameworks, policies and operating models.
• Define controls for AI development, procurement and deployment.
• Support AI risk assessment, model oversight and audit readiness.
• Work closely with legal, compliance, security and technology teams.
• Establish monitoring, reporting and escalation processes.
• Interpret and apply emerging AI regulations and standards.
• Help organisations move from experimentation to responsible production deployment.
