Job summary

YTL UK seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to drive the technical foundations for product and service delivery. You will own the delivery stack end-to-end in Azure, govern CI/CD, and shape solutions to be secure, observable, and scalable for an AI-first delivery team.

You will lead design, governance and hands-on delivery across security, observability and performance, while tracking industry trends and applying advanced AI techniques to real-world deployments.

Qualifications

• Deep, current full stack engineering capability with hands-on delivery in a CI/CD ecosystem using infrastructure as code.
• Fluent Python and JavaScript/TypeScript across backend, frontend, and automation scripting.
• Strong design judgement for containers, virtualization, networking and Azure environments.
• Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines, IaC, release governance and DORA metrics.
• Security, observability and test automation expertise.
• Experience with AI-first, agentic software delivery and skills libraries.
• Ability to codify standards as machine-readable scaffolding and balance governance with speed.
• Credibility to represent the team with enterprise architecture, security and assurance.
• Expertise in generative AI systems, including RAG pipelines and tool-use patterns.
• Broad knowledge of modern AI technologies, deep learning, and predictive ML.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute hands-on towards ongoing deliveries.
• Own and version technical foundations across seven harness dimensions to ensure secure, observable defaults.
• Build and maintain shared CI/CD pipelines and release governance with automated standards.
• Own the light-touch technical governance model with automated gates.
• Ensure observability is instrumented from first commit through live running.
• Own end-to-end delivery stack design in Azure: architecture, containerisation, virtualization, networking and deployment topology.
• Shape deliveries as one of three leads, testing technical feasibility and setting no-gos.
• Represent the team's technical position in assurance, security and enterprise architecture discussions.
• Proactively track industry trends and apply new techniques in harnesses and skills library.
