Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical foundations that underpin product and service delivery. You will drive Azure and ADO-based pipelines, security, observability, and scalable architecture across AI-first delivery teams.

You will lead design and run of delivery stack end to end, ensuring deployments are secure, observable and easily operable in the Azure estate. A hands-on, cross-disciplinary leader is required.

Qualifications

• Deep, current full stack engineering capability with hands-on delivery in an Azure and Azure DevOps ecosystem using infrastructure as code approaches.
• Sound stack design judgement with working knowledge of containerisation, virtualisation and networking to design, deploy and troubleshoot applications across Azure environments.
• Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, release governance and DORA-based delivery measurement.
• Strong grounding in security, observability and test automation.
• Practical experience of AI-first, agentic delivery and curated skills libraries for AI-generated output.

Responsibilities

• Own and version technical foundations across seven harness dimensions so all deliveries inherit secure, observable and tested defaults.
• Build and maintain shared ADO CI/CD pipelines and release governance with automatic enforcement and DORA metrics.
• Own light-touch technical governance with automated gates over committee review.
• Ensure observability is instrumented from first commit to live running for operability and handover.
• Contribute hands-on as a full-stack builder within each delivery time box to keep the harness credible.
• Own the delivery stack end to end—application architecture, containerisation, virtualisation, networking and deployment topology—to be stood up, scaled and supported in Azure estate.
• Shape deliveries as one of three leads, testing technical feasibility and setting no-gos to keep work within appetite.
• Represent the team's technical position in assurance, security and enterprise architecture conversations.
• Proactively track industry trends and self-initiate learning to apply them in practise.
