Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Tax Engineer to help shape AI-enabled tax workflows for professional services firms and in-house tax teams in the UK. You will partner with Tolley teams, engage senior stakeholders, and deliver scalable solutions that transform tax processes.

The role requires deep tax knowledge, strong consulting skills and hands-on experience with AI-enabled workflows, with a focus on delivering measurable value and adoption across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of tax processes and workflows across one or more tax disciplines.
• Demonstrable experience of working directly with customers or senior stakeholders to drive engagement or change.
• Strong consulting, facilitation and presentation skills to lead conversations and translate problems into workflows.
• Commercially and outcome focused with ability to meet adoption/usage targets.
• Strong aptitude for tax technology, AI and workflow transformation with hands-on experience.
• Excellent relationship-building and change-management skills to mobilise stakeholders.
• Collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset with reusable workflow patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive awareness, adoption and expansion of custom workflows across customer organisations.
• Own customer workflow adoption for identified workflows with defined targets.
• Lead workflow discovery and design sessions with customers, analysing tax processes and pain points.
• Work with Customer Success and Account Management to identify priority accounts and plans.
• Use activation/usage data to identify adoption barriers and expansion opportunities.
• Design, configure, test and deploy AI-enabled workflows and skills for day-to-day tax work.
• Lead customer and executive conversations to demonstrate value and momentum.
• Translate feedback into actionable insights for Product and Development teams.
• Capture and share best practices across customers and internal teams.
