Job summary

AWE is seeking an AI-Assisted Software Engineer to embed AI into development, delivering secure, high-quality software at pace. This early-career role works with experienced engineers to turn ideas into working applications using AI tools, from coding copilots to automated testing.

You'll contribute to on-schedule feature delivery, follow coding standards and governance, and collaborate with platform, data and adoption teams to integrate components into the enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related STEM discipline.
Hands-on experience in software development through placements, projects, or initial employment.
Exposure to AI or automation tools in coding and basic ML concepts.

Responsibilities

Contribute to on-schedule delivery of software features using AI-driven development tools.
Ensure code and configurations adhere to coding standards, cybersecurity policies, and governance.
Stay updated with AI-assisted development tools and champion improvements within the team.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and integrate components into the enterprise environment.
Deliver tangible outcomes by using AI tools to boost productivity and iteration speed.
