Job summary

nPlan is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our team in London. You’ll work with senior client engineers to deliver real value, impacting how clients forecast outcomes and manage risk using our data-driven AI tools.

The role blends client engagement with product deployment and analytical work, offering mentorship and growth in a fast-scaling, remote-friendly environment. We value curiosity, drive, and a passion for improving construction outcomes.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in a planning, risk, PMO, or project management role on construction projects (or equivalent grounding).
• Solid understanding of construction schedules (P6) and how they're built/read.
• Understanding probabilistic schedule risk analysis and foundational statistics.
• Interest in improving outcomes for organisations through tech.
• Attention to detail – mention the word 'crane' in your application form.

Responsibilities

• Client engagement: coach clients on maximising value from nPlan and build relationships within client organisations.
• Product deployment: support delivery of projects to embed our products in client processes and adoption of advanced analysis features.
• Commercial: assist engagement, retention and expansion activities with the Commercial team.
• Product: collaborate with Product Managers and AI Engineers, contributing to prototyping.
• Learning and development: benefit from close mentorship while building client-facing and technical skills.
