Job summary

TryHackMe, a leading online cyber security training platform, seeks a Financial Controller to own actuals, close processes, and scalable finance operations. You will drive AI-enabled workflows in Claude, oversee FinOps and tax, and collaborate with FP&A, People, Analytics, RevOps, Sales, CS and SLT.

The role reports to Head of Finance, manages one FinOps Accountant, and supports audits across multiple jurisdictions while pushing for data integrity and automation.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE.
• Startup/scale-up experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with high-volume B2C subscription and/or B2B SaaS is a plus.
• Strong Excel and modelling skills; familiarity with finance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve month-end close, revenue recognition and cashflow analysis.
• Lead FinOps and develop the Accountant who runs AR/AP and cash coding.
• Build AI-first finance workflows and manage Claude-based tooling.
• Maintain financial controls and coordinate annual audits.
