Job summary

Harmonic, a rapidly growing AI-manufacturing scale-up in London, seeks a Financial Controller to own accounting and reporting for the international group. You will run the monthly close, statutory reporting and audit while shaping the stock and cost accounting framework as the business scales.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll manage external accountants, set policies, and progressively bring more finance in-house.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent and strong audit training, ideally from a Big Four firm.
• Post-qualification experience in inventory-heavy manufacturing environments.
• Strong IFRS and UK accounting standards knowledge with practical application.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and deliver accurate management accounts for the group.
• Build inventory and manufacturing accounting framework including valuation, WIP and finished goods.
• Account for fixed assets, capex, depreciation and debt financing as the business grows.
