Job summary

XtalPi is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry to join our Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division. The role combines synthetic chemistry expertise with automation and AI technologies to advance intelligent chemical research and development.

You will design synthesis plans, work with AI teams to optimize experiments, and help enhance automated platforms while ensuring high data integrity and collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and synthesis design skills.
• Strong project management and coordination abilities; automation interest.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; able to work in fast-paced R&D.
• Promotes automation in chemical synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop synthesis plans and automate delivery with data integrity.
• Collaborate with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D to optimize plans.
• Upgrade automated synthesis platforms and improve throughput.
• Prepare SOPs and experimental reports for standardization.
• Operate and maintain automated synthesis platforms for quality.
• Manage projects, communicate with clients, ensure high-quality delivery.
• Identify and mitigate environmental hazards and controls.
