Job summary

XtalPi Inc. in Shanghai is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry to join our Future Chemistry Division. The role blends synthetic chemistry with automation and AI technologies, shaping the future of intelligent chemical research and development.

You will design synthesis plans, work with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D teams, and contribute to platform upgrades while ensuring data integrity and project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

PhD in Chemistry or related discipline; ability to design synthesis experiments independently.
Strong project management and coordination skills; teamwork experience.
Interest in automation within industry and ability to advance automated synthesis work.
Fluent in English and Chinese with clear logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop synthesis plans and automate delivery tasks with data integrity.
Collaborate with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D teams to optimize experiments.
Upgrade and iterate automated synthesis platforms to improve throughput and stability.
Prepare SOPs and experimental reports for standardization and reusability.
Operate, maintain, and optimize automated synthesis platforms to ensure quality.
Manage projects effectively, communicate with clients, ensure high-quality delivery.
Identify environmental factors and implement control measures as required.
