XtalPi is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry to join the Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division. This role combines synthetic chemistry with automation and AI technologies to transform traditional synthesis.

You will design synthesis plans, collaborate with AI R&D, upgrade platforms, write SOPs, and manage projects while maintaining safety and data integrity in a cutting-edge lab.

Qualifications

• PhD degree or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related fields.
• Ability to independently design and conduct synthesis experiments and solve problems.
• Willingness to work in automation-driven R&D.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; able to adapt to fast-paced lab environment.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop synthesis plans and automate delivery with data integrity.
• Work with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D to optimize plans based on predictions.
• Participate in upgrade and iteration of automated synthesis platforms.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs and experimental reports for standardization and reusability.
• Manage daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated synthesis platforms.
• Conduct efficient project management, communicate with clients, ensure high-quality delivery and satisfaction.
• Identify environmental factors and hazards; implement required control measures.
