Job summary

XtalPi Inc. is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry to join our Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division. This role blends synthetic chemistry with cutting-edge automation and AI, shaping the next generation of intelligent chemical R&D.

You will design automated synthesis plans, collaborate with AI/Computational teams, and contribute to platform upgrades while ensuring data integrity and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• PhD or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Ability to independently design and perform synthesis experiments and solve problems.
• Fluent in English and Chinese with clear logical thinking and fast adaptation.
• Interest in automation and advancing automated synthesis in industry.

Responsibilities

• Design synthesis plans and deliver automated synthesis on schedule with data integrity.
• Collaborate with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D to optimize plans based on algorithms.
• Upgrade automated synthesis platforms and improve throughput and stability.
• Prepare SOPs and experimental reports for standardized documentation.
• Operate and optimize automated synthesis systems to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Manage projects and communicate with clients to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Identify and mitigate environmental factors and hazards in the position area.
