Job summary

The Citation Group is seeking a Senior AI Architect in Coventry to lead AI architecture across the organisation, reporting to the Chief AI Officer. The role sits within the AI/Data area, coordinating with delivery teams to enforce architecture standards and governance for AI initiatives.

You will own designs for AI patterns, model selection frameworks, data readiness, and production quality, ensuring security and cost governance are embedded from the outset.

Qualifications

• Senior level with 6+ years in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture.
• Hands-on time on production AI systems, not just pilots.

Responsibilities

• Own AI patterns and design standards across Citation's AI systems.
• Assess and guide model selection and cost governance frameworks.
• Define data architecture readiness and security integration from the start.
• Act as internal architectural counterpart to delivery partners and drive architectural reviews.
