Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside customer environments in the public sector, nonprofit, and education spaces.

You will partner with a Deployment Strategist to co-build production-ready solutions, shipping real code with measurable business impact and hands-on experience across data platforms and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or technical delivery with at least one production system.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to explain failures and fixes.
• Strong data modeling, APIs, and integration pattern knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to shape AI strategies and drive adoption.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to production.
• Build data pipelines and dashboards to track deployment health and outcomes.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs for rapid deployment.
• Travel ~25% to work directly with customers and partners.
