Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will build multi-agent orchestration layers, connect AI agents to Salesforce Data Cloud and ERP systems, and implement robust data grounding and observability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production AI, data engineering, or enterprise integration system deployed.
• High proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on AI & grounding expertise: LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, and RAG pipelines.
• Multi-Agent systems and API mastery: REST/SOAP/webhooks, MCP, tool calling.
• Experience with API-led connectivity and middleware like MuleSoft to bridge AI with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of data modeling and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Ability to whiteboard architecture with CTOs/VPs while writing production code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agent-based orchestration solutions inside customer environments.
• Connect AI agents to enterprise tech stack, including Data Cloud, data warehouses, and ERPs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration pipelines (REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
• Implement agent communication protocols and context sharing standards.
• Create real-time data grounding systems using RAG and vector indexes.
• Build telemetry dashboards to monitor agent health and business outcomes.
