Reactive Permanent Recruitment are working with a long-established Wakefield dealership to appoint an Aftersales/Service Manager. You will lead the service department, drive profitability and ensure timely resolutions for customer inquiries.

The role requires branded dealership experience, leadership of Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts Advisors, and close collaboration with brand partners. Salary £45,000 with a realistic £10,000+ bonus and a company car, based at their Wakefield site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a current/recent branded dealership.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment or machinery.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Strong upselling ability while maintaining trust.
• Experience with cash handling procedures in retail or service.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with clients, team members and vendors.
• Ability to analyse operational data to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service department to handle customer inquiries and issues.
• Meet service targets and department budget.
• Ensure accurate job costing and invoicing.
• Control parts and materials to maintain profitability.
• Improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and manage a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts Advisors.
• Collaborate with brand partners and maintain brand standards.
