Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established franchised car dealership in Hartlepool for an experienced Service Manager.

As Service Manager you will run the aftersales department, lead a team of 7 Technicians and 3 Service Advisors, and drive customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability.

Basic salary up to £50,000 with OTE £60,000+; full-time permanent contract. This role offers career progression within a successful dealer group and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or Senior Service Manager in a franchised dealership.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 7 Technicians and 3 Service Advisors.
• Drive profitability and KPIs for the aftersales department.
• Maximise workshop efficiency, productivity, and labour sales.
• Ensure exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor and improve service department performance metrics.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of team members.
• Maintain manufacturer standards and compliance requirements.
• Handle customer escalations professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives.
