Job summary

Yeomans Volkswagen Van Centre Exeter is seeking an Experienced Aftersales Manager to lead our Aftersales Team at the new showroom in Exeter. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, driving profitability, and ensuring brand standards across service and workshop operations.

You will recruit and train staff, manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement plans to maximise efficiency. A strong leader with technical knowledge and a track record in a main dealer environment is

Qualifications

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Technical knowledge.
• Proven track record of running an Aftersales department in a main dealer environment.
• Ability to lead by example and inspire the team to exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives.
• Experience of developing and monitoring budgets.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with high self-motivation.
• Bodyshop experience would be favourable, but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Aftersales Team – overseeing the Service and Workshop Teams.
• Recruitment and training within the department.
• Meet/exceed targets, KPIs and Brand Standards.
• Set objectives to maximise profitability and performance of the Service Department.
• Ensure workshop efficiency and productivity.
• Develop service department plans and budgets to hit targets.
• Maintain financial and operational controls within the department.
• Report on KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow warranty procedures and recover monies promptly.
• Respond to customer complaints with timely resolutions.
