Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff for an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead a busy aftersales team. You will oversee daily operations, drive workshop throughput and labour sales, and ensure top customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven Aftersales leadership in a large franchise setup, strong people management, and excellent organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a large franchise-approved dealership.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• IT literacy and proficiency with dealership management systems.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
• Experience within the VAG network is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the aftersales team, including Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Workshop Controller.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Maximise workshop throughput and labour sales, managing labour generation of £120,000 - £150,000 monthly.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Support staff development, training, and performance management.
• Implement policies to enhance customer experience and dealership reputation.
• Ensure effective parts supply to workshop and customers.
• Monitor KPIs and produce reports for management review.
• Support department profitability and growth initiatives.
