Job summary

AMF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Operative for a permanent role near Huddersfield, Bradley. Shifts run 2:00pm–10:00pm Monday to Thursday and 11:30am–5:00pm on Friday, with an hourly rate of £16.14 including a 20% shift allowance. Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly
• Quality orientated
• Good level of numeracy and general education
• Ability and willingness to perform manual work
• Previous experience within mechanical engineering, extrusion, injection moulding, and an understanding of pressure and flow would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability policies and report hazards
• Produce quality products on time and at lowest cost
• Work as a team to meet departmental/ company targets and deadlines
• Perform safety checks and adhere to 5S in the department
• Operate extrusion equipment and manual handling tasks
• Keep documentation current and accurate
• Report major maintenance issues promptly
