You will operate extrusion machinery, run production schedules, perform quality checks and document results to meet customer specifications and health & safety standards.

Salary: £33,552 per annum + Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days 7am-7pm / 2 Nights 7pm-7am)

Job Role of the Extrusion Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Extrusion Operator to join a well-established, international manufacturing business operating within the packaging sector. The successful Extrusion Operator will play a key role in the production of blown film products, ensuring output meets customer specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements. Full training will be provided through a comprehensive induction and 13-week training programme, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing.

Responsibilities of the Extrusion Operator

• Operating blown film extrusion machinery to produce products to customer specifications.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Extrusion Operator

• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous experience operating machinery

Desirable Requirements

• Previous extrusion experience.
• Experience within plastics, packaging, film production, or process manufacturing.
• Experience working in a continuous production environment.
