Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is a leading facilities management company providing catering, cleaning, security and more across the UK & Ireland. We are seeking a Chef to join our contract catering team, delivering quality meals and maintaining site standards.

The role requires proven culinary experience, Level 2 qualifications, and the ability to work well within a team and under pressure, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in contract catering is desirable.
• Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure while delivering quality.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Understand food safety, storage, sanitation and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs to meet site standards and quality.
• Manage the cooking process at their station for several dishes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Follow safety and hygiene procedures and proper use of utensils and equipment.
• Notify Senior Chefs of inventory and keep kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients.
• Work with culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service during shifts.
