Job summary

West Kent Housing Association is seeking an Aftercare Coordinator to support the Aftercare Team with our development programme in Sevenoaks. You will manage the defects process from handover through the 12‑month defect period and coordinate with contractors to ensure remedies are completed.

You’ll travel to sites, liaise with residents and internal teams, handle enquiries with empathy, and use MS Word/Excel to maintain records. Hybrid working is offered with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and own car to travel between sites.
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle various enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Manage the defects process from handover to end of 12‑month defect period.
• Liaise with contractors and ensure delivery of required works.
• Act as first point of contact for new residents and handle issues/complaints.
• Maintain administrative records for defects and coordinate with internal teams.
• Travel between West Kent sites as required.
