Job summary

Copello is seeking an Aerothermal Engineer for a 12-month contract in Bristol, with hybrid working (3 days on-site). You will contribute to gas turbine performance analysis, thermodynamics and thermal modelling to optimise efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities include CFD modelling, simulations, testing support, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to define requirements and validate designs. Active SC clearance preferred; umbrella or PAYE engagement options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerothermal engineering, gas turbines or turbomachinery is desirable.
• CFD, aerodynamics or thermodynamics experience is desirable.
• Thermal analysis, combustion or engine performance experience is desirable.
• Engineering testing, verification and validation experience is desirable.

Aerothermal Engineer

I'm recruiting for multiple Aerothermal Engineers to support an exciting engineering programme focused on gas turbine performance, aerodynamics and thermal analysis.

The Role

You'll contribute to the analysis and optimisation of gas turbine systems, using engineering modelling and testing to improve performance, efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse aerodynamics, thermodynamics, combustion and gas turbine performance.
