Rolls-Royce in Bristol seeks a Business Specialist – Aerothermal to provide specialist technical leadership within the Mechanical Systems domain. You will drive capability development and contribute to strategic projects across the business.

Candidates should hold a UK BEng (or higher) and be eligible for UK CEng; experience in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and gas turbine contexts is essential. A collaborative, mentoring mindset and security clearance readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• UK minimum BEng degree or higher
• UK CEng or equivalent relevant to specialist subject area
• Member of a relevant professional body/institute, typically working towards Fellow status

Responsabilités

• Supports strategy development and execution for their area of specialism
• Leads definition of capability projects including requirements and funding
• Develops and applies new capabilities; leads related projects
• Solves technical, compliance and business problems using analysis and professional judgement
• Collaborates with internal and external networks to advance specialist knowledge
• Provides technical direction to peers and junior professionals and leads projects
• Defines skill and knowledge standards and coordinates training
• Ensures policies, standards and best practices are defined and adopted
• Leads knowledge sharing and records salient information in reports and systems
• Follows accountabilities with depth in their field
