Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is seeking a Verification Engineer to join the Software & Electronics Hardware team in the Bristol office with occasional travel to client sites. You will lead verification activities for airborne electronic hardware and contribute to product development strategy.

The role requires an electronics-focused engineering degree, strong communication, and collaborative approach. Experience with Speedgoat, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink and DO-254/DO-178 style practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree – electronics bias or related experience.
• Experience with hardware verification in aerospace or related fields.
• Knowledge of DO-254 / DO-178 standards is desirable.
• Familiarity with model-based design tools and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware verification planning, execution, and documentation.
• Define validation and verification strategy for electronic controllers.
• Collaborate with verification lead and cross disciplines across projects.
• Apply design assurance practices to deliver aerospace-grade hardware.
