Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is seeking Systems Hardware Engineers to join the Software Gateware & Electronics Hardware team in Bristol. The role focuses on electronics hardware and system lifecycle, translating requirements into robust electronic controller solutions for aerospace and training simulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in hardware systems engineering or electronics design.

Responsibilities

• Provide input across equipment-level systems and hardware development.
• Plan and coordinate technical work packages for project delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including systems, safety, mechanical, software, and simulation.
• Support requirements development, architecture, interface definition, integration and verification activities.
• Contribute to design, specification, verification, and validation of electronic controllers for aerospace systems.
• Develop engineering artefacts and technical evidence throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in technical reviews and drive process improvements.
