Job summary

Cirrus Selection in Bristol is seeking a Verification Engineer to own the verification and validation activity for airborne electronic hardware. You will shape the V&V strategy, working with systems, safety, mechanical and simulation teams to ensure the product is right first time.

The role requires an electronics-biased engineering degree and hands-on verification on aerospace or related domains, with DO-254/DO-178 and ARP 4754 awareness. Based in Bristol, salary up to £57,000.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with electronics bias or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on verification experience on aerospace, marine, space, nuclear or automotive projects.
• Practical experience with Speedgoat, Beckhoff or LabVIEW test environments.
• Understanding of power electronics or motor drive design using FPGA-based systems.
• Comfortable coordinating across multiple disciplines and verification activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document hardware verification for airborne electronic hardware.
• Define the verification and validation strategy for electronic controllers on aerospace systems.
• Collaborate with verification lead, project delivery manager and other disciplines to align with the programme.
• Apply design assurance practices under DO-254, DO-178 and ARP 4754.
