Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Stress Engineer to join its Stress Engineering team in the aerospace sector. You will assess non-conformances on turbine components using analytical methods and finite element analysis to safeguard airworthiness.

You will develop repair and concession solutions, work with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with certification requirements while supporting ongoing product performance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with proven experience in aerospace stress analysis and structural assessment.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine engine components and non-conformance management.
• Experience with finite element analysis and fatigue assessment.

Aufgaben

• Assess the structural impact of non-conformances on turbine blades, vanes, segment liners and other engine components using analytical calculations and FEA.
• Develop and approve repair and concession solutions, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Materials Engineering to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions and technical justifications.
